This super delicious and very easy to make marinade is ideal for using with your favourite cut of meat – especially beef and lamb! Kick off with a 2hr marinating time if you can but anything up to 6hrs is good.
Green kiwifruit is ideal for marinating as the fruit contains a natural enzyme unique to kiwifruit called actinidin. Actinidin is incredibly good at breaking down the protein and connective tissues of meat without turning it to mush.
- 1c Bay Farms Kiwifruit, chopped
- 2tsp Soy Sauce
- 2tsp Tomato Sauce
- 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 4tsp Worcestershire Sauce
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
Add with your meat into a sealed container and place in the fridge to marinate for 2-6hrs.
Turn and stir from time-to-time or just leave to sit until you are ready to cook!
