Avocados are amazing anytime. Their oil content increases as the season progresses. From October through to May you will find them most delicious and creamy.

 

What Food Safety Standards apply to my fruit?

Avocados meet a recognised Food Safety Program e.g. NZGAP (Good Agricultural Practice), AVOCO or complete a Trevelyan’s Pack & Cool Ltd Grower declaration of food safety, which means your fruit is grown safely and responsibly.

Kiwifruit meets the Global GAP (Good Agricultural Practice) Food Safety Standard, an international standard for safe and sustainable food production.

 

What size will my fruit be?

Your avocados will be between 200 – 255 gms per piece.

Your kiwifruit will be between 108 – 151 gms per piece.

 

Will I receive an email when my fruit is dispatched?

A confirmation email will be sent when your fruit is dispatched. If you don’t receive it, check you junk, spam, or clutter boxes. If it’s not there please ring us on (07) 573 0085.

How long will my fruit take to be delivered?

North Island – Overnight delivery to non-rural locations.

South Island – Two – three days to deliver to non-rural locations.

Rural locations may take an additional one – two days to be delivered.

We dispatch upon receipt of payment and we try to avoid fruit being left in the courier’s warehouse over the weekend.

 

What form of payment is required?

We accept payment from MasterCard and Visa through Stripe secure service for repeat purchases. We also accept direct bank transfer for one off orders. Your order is sent on receipt of cleared funds based on your location. Refer to https://bayfarms.net.nz/delivery-information/

 

What if the price changes and I have a regular Credit Card subscription?

In the event of a price increase, we will notify our repeat customers by email at least seven days beforehand. If you are not happy with the revised price your subscription can be changed or cancelled at any time.

What if I am not happy with the fruit I receive?

In the unlikely event that you are not happy with your fruit please ring us on (07) 573 0085. We will send you our best quality fruit guaranteed.
